July 6 & 7, FVDED in the Park returns to Surrey’s Holland Park for the fourth year. Boasting a high calibre line-up, featuring some of the biggest names in dance, hip hop, rap and modern R&B, this two-day festival is the ultimate in urban beats.
Yes, outdoor summer music festivals are about music, but what makes a festival special is the vibe. FVDED has an abundance of that raw energy. Located in Surrey’s “central park”, with three state-of-the-art stages, festival goers will enjoy sun-drenched days and evening performances under starry skies – all within the cityscape of metro Vancouver. FVDED has capacity for up to 40,000 festival-goers, and with this year’s stacked line-up, it is sure to sell out.
The artist roster, headlined by American rapper Future and Norwegian DJ Kygo, also includes Kehlani, DJ Kaskade, Bazzi, Illenium, London On Da Track and more. Details on the full line-up, and ticket purchase, are available at FVDED In The Park. The single-day line-ups were recently announced, but you’ll find it difficult to choose as both days are loaded with favourites and soon-to-be favourites.
Experienced festival-goers know to bring a pack with sunscreen, a blanket and a jacket in case weather changes. FVDED is offering lockers for rent AND they include universal cell phone charging. Capturing photos and video can run down your battery quickly, so the ability to re-charge is a huge plus!
The Best Western King George Inn & Suites is conveniently located less than 5km away from the FVDED Holland Park venue, and offers contemporary, comfortable rooms, complimentary wi-fi, parking and breakfast, and an indoor pool. After a day of grooving to the beats, sink into your comfy bed and drift off, with your favourite tunes coaxing you toward dreamland.
